The NACCIA Exemplary Claims Professional Designation

Application Guidelines

NACCIA is seeking applications for our Exemplary Claims Professional designation.  Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be granted this designation:

1.     Be an active Member, Associate Member, or Associate Business Member of NACCIA.

2.     Have an active adjusting license in at least one state.

3.     Can provide a letter of reference from ones pastor about membership in ones church community, on the form provided in the application.

4.     Can provide two letters of reference about ones exemplary work product, e.g. a complimentary email from a file reviewer or supervisor, etc.

5.     In lieu of number 4, above, provide two supervisor references and permission to call them for a work reference.

6.     Can provide an exemplary account of sharing ones practical experience in Bringing Christs Light to the Storm.  This may be done by a short paragraph where the member went above and beyond doing his or her job in adjusting the claim.  For instance, sitting down with an insured who was having extreme difficulty in coping with the aftermath of the hurricane lovingly listening to the story of how the damage happened, meeting the needs of an individual as Christ would have done, helping to bring Christs healing presence through ones actions or words, suffering detraction or angry claimants with Christian patience, etc.
